Valentino

Dalmatian. Executive. The only staff member allowed to sleep through your best take.

The Boss

Every great studio has one.

Abbey Road had cats. The Dome Collective has Valentino — a dalmatian with impeccable session manners, a sixth sense for when the take is “the one”, and a firm policy that all load-ins pause for chin scratches.

He makes the rounds during tracking, supervises from the couch during playback, and has personally approved every final master bounce. His notes are mostly nonverbal and rarely wrong.

Bands ask about him before they ask about the mic locker. Correct priorities, honestly.

Frequently Asked

The Valentino files.

Is the studio dog-friendly for visiting bands?

Valentino is friendly, session-calm, and professional. If anyone in your crew has allergies or would rather work dog-free, tell us in the booking notes and he'll keep to his quarters — grudgingly, but gracefully.

Will he be in our session photos?

Only if you're lucky. A dalmatian on a vintage rug under technicolor light is statistically your album cover, but he doesn't work for free — treats are the standard rate.

Does he have opinions about the mix?

He leaves the room when the low end is wrong. We've learned to check.

Come say hi

He's expecting you.
